“In 1992 we purchased this property. At that time, the Realtor pointed out the privacy and easy maintenance of the backyard. Indeed, for more than 20 years, we enjoyed that private area. Several years ago, we created a Japanese garden in the backyard. We used materials like bamboo and implemented a simple architecture to create a teahouse just over a small bridge.”

The downstairs. When you walk up to the front door, you’ll find a wrought iron door that keeps the home open (but secure). Upon opening the door you’ll notice laminate flooring in the spacious formal living room and dining room. The dramatic vaulted ceilings are accented with custom paint. The upstairs. As you walk upstairs, you’ll notice the bannister is topped with maple wood. There are three bedrooms upstairs: The master suite and two guest rooms. The master is quite large and includes pot shelves and an arched doorway to the bathroom where you’ll find a vanity with double sinks, an oval soak tub, a shower and a large walk-in closet. The guest rooms each have an entrance into the guest bathroom which has a cultured marble counter top, double sinks, a tub and shower.

The community. A walk down the street (just 2-3 minutes away) is a beautifully kept park, lined with mature pine trees. Comfortable benches are placed in the shade for quietly enjoying the peaceful area. Just outside the neighborhood gate a n easy 5-10 minute walk connects one to the various greenbelt areas, superb walking trails and rest areas all lined with mature pine trees. Peaceful and safe, we would often be passed by an armed security officer on bicycle while on our strolls. In the mid 90’s this family sized home accommodated our son and his wife for several years, not to mention the 4 grandchildren who easily walked to school just outside the gate! Later another son and 3 more grandchildren would live with us for some time. During the past 20 years (we are the original owners) we loved the idea that everything we needed was just a few minutes’ drive away; grocery stores, library, restaurants, cinemas, shopping, and two casinos.

We have moved on but we know that with a little TLC, the property can once again be restored for any loving family to enjoy.
